What Are the Steps for Safe Operation of Lime Rotary Kiln?

Published:2022-05-20

There are five steps in the operation of lime rotary kiln. These five steps are the key and one of the methods of safe operation. Let's see what the specific five steps are?

Lime Rotary Kiln

(1) The operator of Hongke lime rotary kiln (lime kiln) should control the fluctuation range of vertical liter within ±50g/L. And control the clinker fCaO content below 1.5%

(2) The operator needs to monitor the changes of O2 and CO content in the exhaust gas, as well as the temperature and pressure changes of the kiln and pre-decomposition system, as well as the changes of the thermal system of the whole system. To ensure complete combustion of the fuel, reduce the yellow core. Try to make the clinker grains as small and uniform as possible.

(3) The operators of lime rotary kiln should learn to see the fire. The requirement depends on the flatness of the kiln skin and the thickness of the kiln skin, as well as the shape of the flame, the length of the black flame, the brightness of the flame and whether it is smooth and powerful, as well as the clinker granulation, the height and tumbling of the material, and the incoming material. how much and so on.

(4) The operators of the lime kiln (lime rotary kiln) ensure that the kiln skin of the firing belt is complete and firm, with uniform thickness and firmness. During operation, efforts should be made to protect the kiln lining and prolong the safe operation period of the lime rotary kiln.

(5) On the premise of ensuring the quality of clinker production, maintain an appropriate exhaust gas temperature, reduce the fluctuation range and reduce fuel consumption.

When the whole kiln is under fire, the following operation methods should be taken. to change the roasting conditions in the kiln.

First, detect the temperature in the kiln in time, and accurately grasp the temperature in the kiln. See clearly the trend of temperature change in the kiln, and judge whether the temperature in the kiln is going up or down, which provides a reliable basis for adding external fuel.

Second, when adding fuel, be sure to "add coal according to the fire", "add less frequently", add a small amount and many times, and add fuel according to the burning speed of the fuel in the kiln. To the requirement of temperature rise, the amount of fuel cannot be too much, resulting in incomplete combustion.

Third, accurately grasp the calorific value of the fuel added to the kiln, and add the fuel according to the required calorific value in the kiln. If the calorific value of the batch of fuel is higher than the calorific value of the original fuel, it should be added less. If the calorific value of the batch of fuel is lower than the calorific value of the original fuel, more should be added.

Fourth, when the ventilation volume of the whole kiln is too large, quickly reduce each air gate to make the whole firing belt operate under positive pressure, that is to say, let each row of the firing belt have backfire, and if necessary, the air intake at the bottom of the billet is also It is necessary to strictly limit and reduce the "backwind". After completing the above operations, you should immediately start to add fuel frequently, and add dry fuel with low moisture content to the spatula. If the bottom of the firing zone is completely cleared, add calorific fuel to raise the fire. When the fire in the kiln returns to normal, the air gate can be gradually raised, and dry fuel with low moisture content is still frequently added to make the front fire develop, and gradually ventilate the kiln to accelerate the combustion.

Fifth, when the ventilation volume of the whole kiln is too small, each air gate should be quickly increased to make the entire firing zone in a positive and negative pressure working state, that is, the front of the firing zone is negative pressure and the rear is positive pressure. fire phenomenon. At this time, the air intake volume of the thermal insulation and cold belts should be increased, especially the ventilation volume at the bottom of the billet stack should be increased to improve the combustion quality and heat exchange efficiency.
